Thanksgiving recipes, upcoming cancer class and Italy….

In how foods fight cancer, nutrition, plant-based, plant-based in Italy

Happy Fall! I hope you’ve had a healthy, fun and relaxing summer. I used to dread winter, but this year – strangely enough – I’m kind of looking forward to it. I’ll probably be singing a different tune in February, but right now I’m feeling in tune with the cycle of the seasons and enjoying thoughts of slowing down a bit, reading by the fire, and cooking up some delicious plant-based comfort food.

If you’re in the metro-Boston area, consider joining me for this award-winning class, with curriculum developed by The Physician’s Committee for Responsible Medicine.  The class will be held in Marblehead, MA in the beautiful kitchen of a wonderful friend. Space is very limited so register soon! how-foods-fight-cancer-jan_feb-2017

Also, the lovely Sina at VeganHeaven.org has put together this great collection of vegan Thanksgiving recipes – everything from lentil loaf with gravy to vegan pumpkin cheesecake. Check it out here: https://veganheaven.org/all-recipes/38-festive-vegan-thanksgiving-recipes/ I can’t wait to start cooking!

And last, but not least – Italy…ahhhh Italy….if you’ve never been and it’s not already on your bucket list, add it and consider joining me! You can find more info here. We (me and my lovely partners in plant-based crime in Italy) originally designed this tour for women-only, and the trip in September was absolutely spectacular – the food, the culture, the wine, the people, the history – heavenly. I have to say, this is one of the most romantic landscapes I’ve ever seen and I really hope someday to bring my better half along – I know lots of women who feel the same way. Since the last trip, we’ve had lots of inquiries from ladies who want to bring their partners, so we are considering adding a second trip in September for couples, singles or anyone else who wants to join. If you have any interest, please reach out soon since we only have 7 spots. If you don’t already follow me on Facebook, check out https://www.facebook.com/sageplantpoweredhealth/ and scroll down to mid-September for a glimpse of this one of a kind trip.

With love and plant-based health XO –

Tracie
