My name is Tracie and I believe (nix that – actually, I know) a plant-based diet has the power to drastically improve your health.
The whole-food, plant-based movement gains more momentum every day and it’s no surprise. The science tells us that when you embrace this way of eating, you reduce your risk for the chronic diseases that plague the western world today – AND you also experience other dramatic improvements to your health. I’ve lost a dear friend to cancer, both of my parents are cancer survivors, and my father is a heart attack survivor. Nearly everyone in the western world today is impacted by some kind of “disease of affluence” – and, guess what? Most of the risk is attributable to what we eat! With every meal we impact or health.

Why “Sage?” – First, it’s one of my favorite herbs! Second, the word comes from Latin salvia meaning “healing plant,” which really resonates with me. And, last but not least, when used as an adjective it implies “having, showing, or indicating profound wisdom.” And there’s nothing smarter you can do for your health than to eat a whole-food, plant-based diet!
